01 Our Story
ACK Emmanuel Memorial Church Thika

Who We Are

A House of Prayer for Generations

ACK Emmanuel Memorial Church Thika is a vibrant Anglican congregation in the heart of Thika, Kiambu County — a spiritual home for generations of families who have worshipped, grown, and served together.

As part of the Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK), we belong to the Diocese of Thika — one of the dioceses within the Anglican Communion, a global family of churches rooted in Scripture, apostolic teaching, and shared worship.

Everything we do flows from our motto — Loving God and Loving People. We worship in four languages (Kiswahili, English, Kikuyu, and Youth ministry), reflecting the diversity of our community and our commitment to making the Gospel accessible to all.
